Kyoto

Koska minulla on enää kuukausi aikaa jäljellä ennen kotiinlähtöä, parasta olisi varmaan alkaa postailemaan viimeisiä kuvia nopsaan!

I have only one month left before returning home, so I better start posting the rest of the photos quickly!

Apparently this is the largrest torii in Japan.

Bamboo grove

Matching kimonos...This is around the Gion district.
I was very lucky to be in Kyoto during the time of a light festival! There were all kinds of amazing and pretty displays....
Photos cannot describe how beautiful this was!
Yasaka-jinja
There were also many modern ikebanas on display
Bamboo lanterns in the river...
Kiyomizu-dera

Taiyaki with ice cream!

Geisha dance
The famous torii gates around Fushimi Inari Taisha
They continued forever....
Of course I had to eat a fitting meal: inari-zushi and kitsune udon!

This is the Silver Pavilion, though there is no actual silver...but there was supposed to be!
